The scope required Somerville to remove/demolish existing underground piping/casing and install new pipeline crossings at two highway crossings northeast of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Both crossing locations utilized open cut crossing methodologies and were phased to suit the installation of a new highway lane. Included in the scope was the access, matting, daylighting, excavation, pipe demolition, pipe installation, hydrotesting, coating, backfill, tie-ins, restoration and cleanup.
